Slimvid has no accounts and no servers of its own. We never collect your personal information, photos, videos, contacts, or location. The only data that leaves your device is anonymous crash and diagnostic reports (see “Crash reporting” below), used purely to fix bugs.
Slimvid needs access to your photo library so it can compress videos and find duplicate photos. All of this processing happens entirely on your device. Your media is never uploaded anywhere. You confirm every deletion, and removed items remain in your system's “Recently Deleted” album for 30 days.
Optional Slimvid Pro purchases are handled by Apple and processed through RevenueCat, which manages subscription status. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous app-user identifier and purchase information needed to validate your subscription. It does not receive your name, email, photos, or videos. See Apple's and RevenueCat's privacy policies for details.
To find and fix bugs, Slimvid uses Sentry to collect anonymous crash and error diagnostics — for example the type of error, your device model, and the iOS version. These reports contain no personal information and none of your photos or videos, and the data is processed on EU servers. They are not used for advertising or tracking.
Apart from purchase processing (RevenueCat) and crash diagnostics (Sentry) described above, Slimvid integrates no advertising or tracking SDKs.
Slimvid does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the “Last updated” date.
